Free Screencapture Software
This might not exactly appeal to all audiences but I think screen capture will come in handy, whether or not you use it frequently. If you create “guides” like me, then you’ll love this. Even if you don’t, it’s great for getting images from Flickr.
However if you have Vista, then you probably won’t need this since Vista has a small and handy screen capture program preinstalled. Simply type in “Snipping Tool” in the search bar of the Start Menu and click on the first thing you see. Either way, whether or not you have a screen capture software already, Jing Project definitely is worth the download (it’s free anyway). Another great feature is that it captures anything on the screen, including videos! Software that incorporates screen capture and video capture along with other premium features can sometimes go upward of three hundred bucks, a lot of green for something so unnecessary!
